- ABOUT · PLEDGE 1%
We took the Pledge 1%.
Trundl has committed one percent of its time, product, equity, and profit to social impact, for the life of the company. We signed the pledge in February 2026, early on purpose, so the commitment lives in our founding choices rather than as a footnote later.

- WHY EARLY
Our 1%, on the table.
Most companies put off social impact until the business hits the next milestone, whether that is a profitable year, a stable quarter, or a quieter stretch on the calendar. The milestone keeps moving, and the year keeps passing. The right time to commit to giving back rarely arrives on its own.

- OUR COMMITMENT
Our 1%, on the table.
Pledge 1% structures the commitment around four categories: time, product, equity, and profit. Member companies pick any combination of the four.
Here is what Trundl is putting on the table.
Time
Paid volunteer time for everyone on the Trundl team, plus skills-based pro bono work for nonprofits that need the kind of things we build every day.
Product
Discounted or donated Trundl engagements for nonprofits. Full project work and not just one-day workshops, because that is the work that actually moves the needle.
Equity
A share of the company’s equity set aside for social impact, governed by Pledge 1%’s standard legal templates so the structure is recognized and durable.
Profit
A share of annual profit directed to the causes Trundl has committed to. Reviewed every year, reported every year, irrespective of how the year went.

- where it goes
The work our 1% backs.
We picked causes where the Trundl team has lived experience and where the work we do every day adds something on top of the cheque. The specific causes will evolve over time. The standard for picking them will not.
charity:water
Clean water projects funded by our financial support and our team’s volunteer hours.
UNICEF
Support for children in crisis, backed by funding and the platform expertise to run operations better.
- THE FRAMEWORK
Take. Engage. Inspire.
Pledge 1% keeps the bar deliberately simple. Companies take the pledge once, build the giving program over time, and share the impact openly with everyone watching. That is the entire framework.
Take
Get the commitment signed off internally, then file it publicly with Pledge 1%. The company joins the global registry, and the commitment becomes part of the public record.
Engage
Build the giving program. Pick the causes. Tap into the Pledge 1% community to learn from the 19,000 companies that have already worked through the questions you will run into.
Inspire
Display the badge, share the impact honestly, and help the next company decide that this is a real and workable path. The movement grows when members tell the story properly.

Take the pledge yourself.
There is no fee, no audit, and no minimum size. The earlier in a company’s life this commitment goes in, the smaller one percent costs and the longer it has to compound. Most companies start with one of the four categories and add more as they grow.
